Curtain Wall is a large scale, real-time interactive installation commissioned by the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA) of Chicago. The interactive sculpture and video installation references the architectural tradition of the "curtain wall" or "glass curtain" facade, a distinctive element of Chicago's world renowned skyline. The interactive video responds to changes in the ambient room sound as well as to visitors speaking into the microphone located just next to the displays. The virtual 'glass curtain' reacts to voice levels by actively fluttering, floating, or flapping.

Rockey Structures provided engineering services for the curvilinear steel pipe structure, as well as the support, connections, and anchorage of the mobile artwork within the existing steel-framed lobby of the McCormick Place Convention Center lobby.
