UN Studio's pavilion is a graceful form in which the roof plane swoops down to meet the plane of the base, framing views of the city. The pavilion is designed to be illuminated by a colorful pattern of LED lights at night. These colors and patterns will change in response to the number and movement of people through the pavilion.

Rockey Structures provided structural engineering for this steel framed structure, which is designed to be able to be de-constructed and recycled after the exhibit closes.

This is one of two temporary pavilions constructed in Millennium Park in downtown Chicago to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Daniel Burnham and Edward H. Bennett's landmark 1909 Plan of Chicago.
